Here is my version, incorporating John Maddox and Nancy Watterson as the speculative parents of both Robert (your line) and "George" (Lana Mountford's line). I believe that John was probably the brother to those other Mattox-Maddox in Montgomery Co., ((that is: Samuel [m.Mary Garlick], Richard [m.Sarah Venover], Nancy [m.William Barnard], and Martha [m.Peter Woolrick ])) so it might be worthwhile to look for a family group with those several childrens' names.

My family is from New Kent Co., VA (1681), through Goochland Co., VA, and through Ohio Co., KY. Don't think I'm related to you all (southerners, mostly).
